余高阳于2013年-2017年在北京林业大学生态与自然保护学院，野生动物与自然保护区管理专业学习，并获得学士学位。2017-2020年进行硕士研究生阶段的学习，完成了“两种山雀的用足偏侧化及其与影响适合度的行为的关系”的硕士论文。现在荷兰格罗宁根大学进行博士阶段的学习。

Gaoyang YU completed her bachelor’s degree on Wildlife Conservation and Nature Reserve Management at School of Ecology and Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University from 2013 to 2017. She has moved on to be a graduate student since 2017, and completed her master project "Footedness of Yellow-bellied Tit (Pardaliparus venustulus) and Cinereous Tit (Parus cinereus) and Its Correlation with Fitness-related Behaviors". Now she is pursuing her PhD degree in University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
